Jesus doesn’t beat about the bush but gives us quite a strong message in this Sunday’s parable of the darnel and the wheat, especially with the image of the blazing furnace. At the same time, He has given us the power through His Spirit and Word to work with Him to begin to transform that darnel back into wheat while there is still time.So, who in the world do I see as today’s darnel? As a Christian would I be happy to see any of them suffer the fate of the darnel?
