“Give back to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God”, was Jesus’ answer to the trap His enemies set for Him in today’s Gospel. He didn’t snap back or try to get even, but just calmly gave a very wise and practical response. Let’s pray for this same wisdom and composure whenever we feel someone is being sarcastic, provocative or trying to set a trap for us.                         Fr John
