What kind of boss do you have? Does she or he lord it over you like the devil-wears-prada-type? Christ, in today’s Gospel, challenges his followers not to lord it over but to be leaders for others. Christ invites us to a discipleship that is mindful and responsive to the needs of our neighbours — never for self-aggrandizement nor personal gain. How about you, are you any different from your boss?
