The readings of the day remind us of God’s love and mercy. They show us the importance of faith, compassion and trust in God. Our faith can lead to healing and a new beginning. Do you see Jesus as your only hope, and cry to him, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me”? There may be many blocks in our faith journey, but be ready to overcome them and reach out to Jesus, who has the power to heal and to restore to health or to life. Let us throw aside our sinfulness and come to Jesus and be healed.
