25th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A bulletin now available

The Lord challenges our innate sense of fairness in this Sunday’s parable of the labourers who are called to work in the vineyard. Is the owner in this story being unfair? If we interpret it literally and by the accepted standards of this world, perhaps he is. More than that, his actions seem radical and even provocative. But God’s ways are not our ways. There are many mysteries in the Kingdom of God that we will not make sense of until we get to the ‘other side’. Until then, we are asked to live by faith and be grateful for every blessing the Lord has given us.  Fr John
