24th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A, bulletin now available

Our readings this Sunday focus on the need for forgiveness. Which beckons the question: is there anyone in either our own lives or the lives of others (including those we hear about in the media or history books) we would be unwilling or unable to forgive? Perhaps we ourselves have done something we think is unforgiveable. If we judge ourselves or others by the standards of our secular world, which can be very unforgiving, who could be saved? So, the Lord invites us to take a quantum leap into the Divine, His eternal realm, where all wrongs can be forgiven and all wounds healed, if only we will submit ourselves to His life-giving grace.   Fr John
