Fr Matthew is Vicar General and Chancellor of the Diocese.  He graciously celebrates Mass with us on Sunday evenings.

Ms Anne Warren - Business Manager

Anne joined the parish team in an administrative role in April 2019, following 40+ years of employment with Commonwealth and State governments.  Anne grew up in Merewether and attended St Joseph’s Primary and High Schools in the 1960s and 1970s. Working in the parish has been a wonderful opportunity to renew some old acquaintances and to make some new ones!

Mr Peter Davies, Administration

Peter joined our team in 2024. Following retirement after 20 years in the Australian Public Service, Peter decided he wasn’t ready to play bowls full time. He engaged in various part time customer service roles, with a passion for making people feel better after their interaction with an organisation. He is grateful for the opportunity to work in the City Pastoral Region, and keenly aware that our administrative staff are “the face of the Church” when people contact us.

Ms Elul Tecle, Administration

Elul joined our team at the end of 2023, after first volunteering in the parish office and discovering her passion for serving the community. With a background in Biomedical Science, she brings a thoughtful and organised approach to her work, along with a genuine care for people. Elul values being part of a team that makes a positive difference in the lives of others and finds great fulfilment in creating a warm and welcoming experience for all who contact the parish.
