The Epiphany of the Lord, with the visit of the Magi, was a sign from God that the Messiah hadn’t been sent to save just one nation from its enemies, but all nations from our common enemies: suspicion, greed, corruption, hatred, poverty and every other kind of evil. Vatican II called the Church Lumen Gentium as a sign to us that we must shine the light of God’s love for everyone.      Fr John
